Tulipa ‘Purple Prince’ is a single early tulip with glorious purple flowers and grey green foliage and will make a colorful addition to any spring garden and excellent cut flowers for the vase. One of the easiest bulbs to grow, we love to combine this Triumph tulip with other rich colors of a similar plant height and bloom time. Purple Prince enjoys a longer blooming period and will flower in mid spring.

Plant bulbs 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart in containers or in an herbaceous border in between neat clumps of Sesleria autumnalis where  you can watch them bloom against beautiful chartreuse leaves. Try combining with dark fringed tulips for a smart and serene effect.
